Butterfly watching
There are few beings in nature as graceful, as beautiful and as seemingly fragile as butterflies. But in all reality, they are actually fighters capable of overcoming the worst of droughts, the harshest of winters or the longest of storms and doing it all at much less than one gram in weight.

Stags, roe deer, fallow deer, wild boars, mountain goats, otters, mongooses, martens, genets, wildcats and, who knows, there might just be a few lynxes left in the province. Some of these mammals can be seen with binoculars or telescopes.

But in order to see many others, you’ll need to use that ancestral technique of searching for the tracks that reveal their secret lives.
